There is no reason whatsoever for Russia to be involved in Ukrainian's domestic civil war. Sending the army into Ukrainian soil is an act of invasion that should be condemned and which has already been condemned by the United Nations Assembly.

Actually there is very legitimate reason for Russia to intervene in Ukraine's domestic civil war

The UN Charter has such a thing called "Responsibility to Protect" (R2P)

R2P was first used by Nato in 2011 to justify invading & bombing Libya 

The Ukrainian Army has been shelling & killing over 10,000 civilians in Luhansk & Donetsk since 2014. The UN sent the OSCE, a European body working under the Minsk Agreement Peace treaty to monitor, document & stop the massacre, but unsuccessful. 

Eventually, leaders of Luhansk & Donestk asked for Russia's protection

Not because everyone knows ST editors are just well paid propagandist, but rather avg readers notice the increasing amount of garbage products from this Paper. Like this ST article by its Associate Editor saying we should be "pro-Singapore" when in her 1st paragraph she seemly accused SGrean for being "oddly ambiguous" over Ulrinaine crisis.
