COVID-19 appear to be more affected by blood clots

Immediately after infection not advisable to go into extreme exercise. Need to rest for a few months due to inflammations of body parts.

Who's most at risk for blood clots, and what to look for

While those with severe cases of COVID-19 appear to be more affected by blood clots, those who don’t come to the hospital could still be at risk.

They, as everyone, should monitor for signs of clots and possible stroke or heart attack:

new swelling, tenderness, pain or discoloration in the arms or legs
sudden shortness of breath
facial drooping
weakness of one arm or leg
difficulty speaking
chest pain or pain radiating to the neck, arms, jaw or back

Our experts' biggest recommendation for those with COVID-19 at home: Keep moving. Stay hydrated. When you are seated, try to keep your legs elevated.

Keep the blood, quite literally, flowing.
