An iPhone is never worth stealing.
The person who loses the phone can track or lock the phone from the iTunes website.

A lock device is near worthless and can only be used for parts. You cannot reset or wipe it to reinstall the OS as the id is hardwared onto the motherboard.

Thieves should steal other phones but never an iPhone
