the coffee shop at junction of sin ming rd/ upper thomson rd still selling at $3. quite a lot of meat.

Good heart but wrong method. The rich will fight with the poor to take advantage of the $2 meal. He could have sold $3.50 and channel the bigger profit to help the really poor.
