Must get a ID company which had done this work before, best to get one by word of mouth that had good records....

1. Search inside HDB portal for ID coy
2.Get 3 quote for 3 different company
3. Check the Reno review
4. Ask the Reno contractor for scope of work & schedule.

Total cost quoted was $55K. I think his deposit of $28K before work even started is too much. Should negotiate for better payment terms in stages of renovation work and if ID company refused can tell them to fuxk off....  Rolleyes

Item 1 is actually bull shxt…

Item 2 depend your luck.
My advice is don’t list down all the items you want to do at 1 go… Add in along the way… you can have good bargaining power. Their carrot knife is very sharp.. Never look for ID firm, look for contractor.

Item 3… Need to check Reno review. It will save you some time.

Item 4.. Check for any existing show flat under renovation. If possible try to see 3 houses at different locations.

Item 5. Don’t pay any bill first without seeing renovation material in your house.

Lastly, 一定要先小人,后君子。
