This often happened in all economy cycles

S'pore does not have enough land to accommodate 6 million residents. Let us make this island more liveable with 3.5 million people.

Let me assure you that FTs are never in the list to be removed first. Based on my past experience, HR will start with locals as most of them hold unimportant jobs.

Our leaders have often claimed they have a "S'porean First Policy", but we have come to believe that it means locals will be the first in line for retrenchments and enlistment to NS.

Perhaps that man from Madras, Iswaran was responsible for the entry and naturalisation of tens of thousands of these CECAs into S'pore.

Many of these CECAs managed to land jobs in S'pore using their counterfeit university degrees. Send them packing ASAP.
