SG cardiovascular disease (CVD) is responsible for 12,000 heart attack a year
#1

Heart disease is a major health concern in Singapore, acting as the leading cause of death and contributing to a significant portion of overall mortality. Specifically, cardiovascular disease (CVD) is responsible for about one-third of all deaths in Singapore, with myocardial infarction (heart attack) and stroke being major contributors.

The situation is further compounded by the increasing prevalence of risk factors like hypertension, high cholesterol, and diabetes, particularly among younger individuals, and the aging population is expected to exacerbate the problem.

This I agree. Bus seats are small for them and sometimes they occupy 1.5 seats. Shouldn’t companies discourage unhealthy employees with some cash incentives?

If it's too prevalent, our leaders preferred not to talk about it at all.

Pretending nothing has happened
