lower seletar reservoir
what kind of animal could inflict such nicely cut wound ??
one possible candidate is shark as they have razor teeth that could do a clean cut but There are NO shark in lower seletar reservoir

Mating seasons, 5%-10% bitten off is very common

But 1/4 is too much

I doubt it is the work of a shark, and not likely to be the work of a mating stingray, but a possible culprit could be a large monitor lizard, which are abundant in reservoirs ............. Big Grin
