Singapore universities are responding to increasing demand by introducing more Mandarin-taught postgraduate MBA etc programmes.
NTU, the Singapore Management University (SMU), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) are among those launching new courses. Singapore universities are easier for Chinese students as they do not have to take TOEFL or IELTS exams, she added, referring to the English proficiency exams required by some universities. Mandarin-taught MBA courses are particularly attractive to Chinese nationals seeking to expand their business networks in Southeast Asia, she added. Some students also see these programmes as a way to integrate into the local community.

Decades ago there was already a big market for Chinese university outside of the Mainland.
The aspiration & demand was so great that overseas Chinese came together to donate to built one in a poor 3rd world colonial Island called Singapore.
70 Years ago, that wish came true as world's 1st Chinese University outside of China was established in 1955.... I foresee we will come one full circle when Chinese-educated graduates are again in great demand globally.
