for the competing by cheap products. trump tariffs and postpone implementations has actually force a surge.
but china is really growing in the new tech area.

1. robots of all kinds. human like, digital robots, animal like, half animal type. and the related supply chain.
robots can help to removed the shortage of man power as population aged. these are just mobile machine with learning capabilities.

2. cloud base, AI, big data etc. all growing.

3. ev cars. many brand competing. seems like replacing many establish models as they are slow to give up ice cars model. the transitions will see more ev and lesser ice maybe some hybrid.

4. autonomous car , which is actually computer in car, AI, cloud, sensors etc. so the value chain is big.

5. modernisation of farming. green house allows those land like northern part to even produce veg during winter. they flaten the ground to allow machine to plant, harvest, spray insecticides, fertilize, monitoring, and knowing where and when to harvest so as to get more out of the land.

6. wind energy, solar energy, man made sun, nuclear power, satellite, etc

7. medicine. new drugs for all kind of illness.

7. they are one country strength to develop advance technology, competing against individual commercial development in the west. who is the winner no need much thinking.
