There was nothing wrong with the plane even if it’s more than 10 years old. It’s one of the passengers who was not well and required medical treatment lah. Read before you post nonsense.

Surprisingly, SIA still operating a lot of 10.3 years old Boeing 777-300ER in service today..
Pitiful gone are the days when SIA operating a young fleet less than 3 1/2 years are over.

How come Singapore Airlines so bloody cash rich but not able to revitalise and buy a fleet of brand new planes?
The average age of the fleet varies by aircraft type. For example, the average age of the A350-900 LH was 6.5 years, while the average age of the 777-300ER was 14.9 years.
The oldest passenger aircraft in the fleet was a Boeing 777-300ER, which was 18 years old in January 2025.
The airline's Boeing 777-300ER fleet is older than originally intended due to delays in the delivery of Boeing 777-9s .
"
Most other carriers, which typically retire their passenger aircraft around 15 years old.
