SMRT aiming to restore East-West Line service on 30 Sept, plans for shuttle trains scrapped

Operating the shuttle train would slow down repairs to the damaged rail, SMRT said.

This show that SMRT never really improved like those higher mortals had claimed. Last few years no major breakdown ish mainly because of wuhan epidemic help reducing the passengers load back to the "normal" level that the current system can support.

Once the epidemic ended and those sinkie+FT start going back to take the trains like norm again, the system become overloaded and up lorry once again.

There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.

But now, they'll only do it for money.

Our East West mrt railway system is not planned for 6 million population. It has been overloaded after flood gate wide open.  出事故,是迟早的事,幸亏没酿成大祸。我们不可能永远这么幸运!
