Alot of the rise is just trend chasing...due to inflow of funds that tend to park in blue chips.
Of course this can keep going as US dollar weakens but it is past the best time to buy. Once we get to STI=4500 which is just 7% away valuations willl be stretched to the point expected long term returns look unattractive.
Anyway look at Semb Ind a blue chip how quickly it can tumble from high valuations when investors get disappointed.
