SVC bank collapse contagion - caused by Fed hikes tip of iceberg

Fed rate hikes caused bond yields to go up and bond prices to sink.

SVC and Silvergate were forced to sell bonds at a loss resulting in collapse.  This is believed now to be  a widespread problem in US banking sector

Also, mortgage back securities have collapsed due to Fed rate hikes
