TOC is extremely irresponsible to link her apparent suicide to her allegation that her worker was trying tk defraud her with fraudulent claims.
For one we do not know not know.if the allegations are true and given nature of her death there will be anger directed against the worker making the claims..
Injuries were certified by doctors to support the claims. Other than her own suspicions there is no definitive evidence to support her allegations.
Often people suffering from depressions and poor mental health will suspect others are conspiring against them.

The woman who commited blamed the couple. There is no dispute of the facts in her note - she killed herself dur to distress cause by the lawsuit brought about by the couple. She did not claim in her suicide note the lawsuit has no merit just thait drained her financially and pushed her to suicide.
It is quite diffeerent.
If the TOC has simply said the injury claim is potentially one of the events that contributed to her stress and possiblh suicide, i would not have an issue with it

Lee stated she had video footage contradicting the claim and had personally observed the employee moving freely, cooking and walking without signs of injury.
However, according to Lee, the worker’s demeanour changed when in the presence of doctors, where she allegedly exaggerated her condition.
“I accompanied her to several medical appointments and observed these deliberate actions,” Lee wrote.
She suspected the scheme was designed to target small businesses.

Quote:According to Lee, the worker claimed to have slipped and fallen while using the escalator to dispose of rubbish. However, Lee believed the incident was staged.
How iz the boss liable? Escalator slippery? Rubbish too heavy? Got lawyer doesn't mean will win in court.
Even if boss need to pay oso no need to take her own life [must think of the consequences] The poor lady was oredy suffering from depression to take such extreme measures.
Same as the anti-vax couple case. Iris Koh ony ask her to retract her claim, neber even hire lawyer.
