Still Need to keep on upgrading yourself.
I see some IT guys whole day sit in the office seeing the program codes.

There are many kinds of Software Engineer. Those that write for the banking software are fairly easy. Those that write to control the robots or electronics and involve many mathematical formulae can go crazy.

in singapore, banking software engineers are paid higher than robot/electronic software engineers.
