There must be good reasons why ppl prefer to travel by MRT rather than by bus.   This is because it is faster to each a destination by MRT than by bus.  Why is it faster, bcos they don't have to abide with traffic lights, zebra crossing and traffic jams.........................

That should not be the way to reduce travel by MRT.......shouldn't be that cost is factored in.  The MRT comes every 2 mins. during peak hours, and is an efficient and fast way to commute...........................

SG is probably the only developed country to encourage ppl to take bus instead of MRT, next time Gov shd encourage ppl use squat toilet instead of sitting toilet bowl or use 36k modem suah

China is losing lot of $$$ providing affordable public transport.
Public transport shd be a perk for the ppl go to work or school on time. Not for profiteering.

MRT morning peak should be reserved for citizens going to work.

This way, it will encourage more PRs and foreigners to become Singapore citizens.
