Tetsuya Yamagami (41), who was arrested on suspicion of shooting former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, found several handmade guns in his home condominium search on the 8th.
Yamagami is a former Self-Defense Forces officer of the Maritime Self-Defense Force and may have been trained to assemble guns. On the same day, the prefectural police set up an investigation headquarters at the Nara West Office and hurried to clarify the entire case.
