Malaysians working in Singapore: 1.25 m

Pioneer Generation: 450K
Merdeka Generation: 500K
Total 950K

Not so Fun Facts
1.  The number of jhks working here is more than the PG and MG combined.
2.  Out of a total of 3.5m Singaporeans, 1 m are under 21 which include chewren of new citizens
3.  After deducting the PG, MG and those under 21, we have about 1.5 m Singaporean aged between 21 and 65, and these also include new citziens.

1.25 m jhk vs 1.5 m Singaporeans of working age, and that means for every Singaporean, there is one Malaysian. Add in those from the Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, India, Korea, Japan and the West and we are now the minority in the workforce.

Some of you are retired and have no chewren.  Your world is this forum where most of you are old and single, and you don't know the reality out there in the workplace.  We are already like a United State of Singapore.

We need an air conditioner replacement.  We were told that the waiting time was about 2 weeks at the moment.  Not sure why he could not find a job here. My neighbor, just came from Shangdong told me he is working in a car airconditioning firm in Singapore. He has a big group (not sure how many as they come and go) of Chinese National living with him.

Actually had been told by friends in similar industry (be it installation\repairing of air-con\electronic, or electrical cabling or water piping, or home\office renovation or car servicing etc) are still having problem finding sinkie workers\technicians to do this kind of jobs. Most can only managed to find jhk and AT nia.

Beside naoadays AT economy ish in ice-age, many AT themselves also hard to find jobs to earn a living, they never come here to snatch sinkie ricebowl ish already heng, not sure why sinkie think they can go there to steal their ricebowl instead. Ish no longer like a decade ago when AT economy still blooming and many claims sooner or later sinkie will have to go AT land to look for better jobs.

There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.

But now, they'll only do it for money.

简直就是玩命。it's safer to stay home play games.

Most Sg condos used to hv very big space for installing aircon compressors, very safe for the workers and can double as a storage space. But latest ones no more, the aircon ledges will be like those in the video
