To be fair his buying price wad all more than a month ago. Ping An he bought at 30$.

The loaded up one day before the crash is only bank shares.
When market crash the China Banks only fell 3% next 2  day rebound 2% so he lost only 1% for the load up.

Rest he made tons of money. So he has no loss in last 2 yrs of investing in HK/China. 

His main loss is from 3yrs ago in Alibaba he is still down 30%.
