Definitely majority of us do not understand why must we pay carbon tax in our water and electricity bills. Is Sp Power using coal to product carbon so pass down the cost to all households? Water- Does Sp Power uses coal to generate water supply to all households? Electricit-: it is tapped from neighbouring countries. When will Sp Power stop all those coal fuel in order to stop charging all households carbon tax? Really why we have to bear such costs tru no fault of us? Can someone explain why Spore carbon usage is so high that all households have to pay for not using coal fuel whatever.

Or rather Grace Fu please explain to all households why such an efficient tiny island needs to pass carbon tax to all households that do not use any carbon producing fuel other than the gas cooking stove, the air con and water for bathing, washing. $5 per ton is super HIGH! Also please give data on how much is the total collection of $5 per ton for all households vis-a-vis every household's monthly use of carbon emission and why it is not on a proportionate basis. Why must one household has to pay for another household that uses more carbon emission fuel?
