The argument of the video is, Australia doesn’t have a car industry, therefore there’s no need to ban Chinese EVs to protect Australia’s car industry

Thought they used to make their own cars when I was staying there. I think the brand was Holden.      Thinking

Thinking is difficult, that's why most people judge

That is a GM car rebrand for Aus market.

Holden was the first company to assemble bodies for Ford in Australia and by 1924 was the exclusive supplier in Australia of car bodies for the US-based General Motors. It became a subsidiary of the United States–based General Motors (GM) in 1931, when the company was renamed General Motors-Holden's Ltd.

It is just a brand copied from the GM, not a car industry.

Is it? The angmo bloke who showed off his brand new Holden when he bought and drove me around Geelong told me the car was made in Adelaide.    Thinking

I drove Tarago while there for short stay.

Is a GM car. They have no car industry but probably all GM refit in Aust. Like Honda in Thailand

They have to ban, otherwise they wouldn't be living up to their racist reputation
