Shrinkflation that is hard to detect
#1

Was on the way home this morning from the coffeeshop and met a neighbour.

She told me that shrinkflation is hard to detect.

I agreed and said that unless one compares with the original package, one most probably won't know.

She told me that even if the package did not shrink, there could be shrinkflation. She went on to explain that this morning she saw the Old Town White Coffee 3-in-1 has a discount and she immediately go for it. But she somehow felt that it is LIGHTER (I am impressed by her sensitivity to weight). She checked and found out that instead of 15 satchets, it now only has 13.

She said even if the package remains the same, best to check the numbers.

YEP! That is why the dumb 61% are easily deceived

They do not think, never compare, cannot analyse.

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?
