Since 2010, hospitals shortage of beds is due to increased ageing population. True?

Since 2010, hospitals shortage of beds is due to increased ageing population.

Today, some patients have to wait for 2 days to find a bed.

Your view: is it caused by an increased ageing population or becoz of MOM poor administration?

Reported CPF savings is ranked 6th largest in the world but sadly, sick pensioners cannot find a bed.

Can Singapore General Hospital be ranked No. 9 World's Best Hospital?

Is this a joke?

MOM reported treatment of patients has never been delayed..

Yes. Only treatment comes after those sick patients already waited outside for beds for 2 days.

Any further delays, they will die

I did see the ward C I was visiting at KhooTP Hospital with foreigners. Our own local aging population is in the yearly statistics report and this is no surprise and no excuse that hospitals are caught off guard. But poor managing of foreigners intake definitely affect the overall service level and care needed.

Singapore racing at break neck speed infiltrating every organisation in order to be ranked world No.1

WHO ranked Singapore No.1 Best Healthcare System? It's BS?

Whereas Straits Times reported Singapore hospitals shortage of beds with waiting time to 2 days, and medical professionals are leaving the country.

Many Researchers shown reports ranked Singapore outside Top Ten while others did not ranked Singapore among Top 15.

Wide disparity?

"Ten countries have the best healthcare in the world?

CEOWorld Magazine's Health Care Index "is a statistical analysis of the overall quality of the health care system, including health care infrastructure; health care professionals (doctors, nursing staff, and other health workers) competencies; cost (USD p.a.per capita); quality medicine availability, and government readiness."

Each country is given a score for each of the above factors and then a total score out of 100. According to this index, the ten countries with the best health care are:

South Korea
Taiwan
Denmark
Austria
Japan
Australia
France
Spain
Belgium
United Kingdom
Here are the 10 countries with the highest LPI ranking:

Denmark: 1 🇩🇰
Norway: 2 🇳🇴
Switzerland: 3 🇨🇭
Sweden: 4 🇸🇪
Finland: 5 🇫🇮
Netherlands: 6 🇳🇱
New Zealand: 7 🇳🇿
Germany: 8 🇩🇪
Luxembourg: 9 🇱🇺
Austria: 10 🇦🇹"

IS TOTAL NONESENSE
govt has all the data n info that others do not hv on population profile open leg policy on increase of inhabitants in spore.

REASONS:
NO PROPER PLANNING N NO FORESIGHT
even w all the vatile data still has a poor kpi bpushing blame to an excuse which does not stand

for >15 yrs pap already knew spore is a fast growing old population,it does not come overnite
giving these blame excuses is not admiting own faults n wrong, like that how to win a war when u know yrself well yet no proper planning n strategies
