Inherited with the lack of capable leadership, SingPosts problems will never end..

Parachuting a female ex navy commander into SingPost could only make matters worse.

in singapore. sing post is given so much advantage but they did not make full used of it.

like picker box in hdb and other location they are winners to replace letter.

imagine the change in changing a letter to changing delivery of a item that can fit into the picker locker.

all they have to do is try to increase market share of used by giving money out first. free use is not enough. go lucky draw for people who choose to use it instead of hand delivery or other means. once the picker box has >80% share of delivery business they can charge postage price then over time increase the price.

the attitude on delivery also need to change. not just leave in locker and send message no retrieve by date means send back to seller. people buy at discount , you meant not steady about the purchase. they should follow up with the physical call especially for new users to get the delivery done. all hand delivery people do that. the thinking of the people need to change. singpost is in competition with many delivery people. you longer monopoly and said it is here take it or leave. it must be a try to deliver thinking.

with their auto sorter singpost can be a winner.

SingPost has appointed Isaac Mah as group chief financial officer (CFO) effective Jan 22. Mah was previously group Australia business, Freight Management Holdings CFO. Mah will relocate to S'pore & take guidance from chairman of board, Simon Israel. Mah appointment as group CFO was first announced on Dec 22 in accordance with SingPost succession plan. As on Jan 2, Ms Neo Su Yin is also appointed as group COO, a newly created role overseeing group S'pore & international business units and property. Big Grin

This follows the Parcel scandal that SingPost has been embroiled in. The company fired three top executives, former group CEO Vincent Phang, group CFO Vincent Yik, and Li Yu, head of the group international business unit (IBU) over their  grossly negligent manner in which they handled a whistle-blower report & subsequent probes.

Mah has 197,360 unvested restricted share awards granted under S'pore Post Restricted Share Plan 2013. Mah has been with SingPost since 2019, when he was appointed Head of Strategic Investments and Investor Relations.
