Singapore Airlines flight entered a dangerous zone dreaded by most pilots, report says..
A former pilot suggested that the Singapore Airlines flight, which faced severe turbulence and led to a passenger's death, might have flown into the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ICZ). According to NASA Earth Observatory, this zone is near the equator where winds from the north and south meet.
The intense heat and warm waters here create high humidity. When the winds come together, the moist air rises, cools, and forms thunderstorms, making the area prone to constant storms.

I don't think pilots will anyhow change course, they take the plane to height and set the coordinates on auto pilot. There is no reason for any misadventures uncalled for...

After Covid19 pandemic, SIA keeps on adding and doubling flights Singapore/London/Singapore could be the cause of increasing such problems..
SIA has gone on a break neck expansion like never before.
Unprecedented, Singapore leaders helping SIA with Taylor Swift sole performance in Singapore.

Wow, reading about that turbulence is a stark reminder of how unpredictable air travel can be. It must have been quite an ordeal for everyone on board. Turbulence zones like the Intertropical Convergence Zone sound daunting, with their mix of heat, humidity, and thunderstorms. Safety is always the top priority, and it's reassuring to know that airlines take precautions in such situations. On a different note, if you're planning your next trip and aiming for a smoother ride, I recently came across some handy tips for scoring affordable business class tickets. Check out https://travelbusinessclass.com/lufthans...ness-class for more details.

Question
Why only SIA flight (10 hours after leaving London) while no others experienced such extreme turbulence along same spot on flight route?
Only SIA?
