Singapore Democratic Party calls on MDDI to release circular linked to NRIC debacle

The Singapore Democratic Party has urged the Ministry of Digital Development and Information to release the circular tied to the Bizfile NRIC controversy. The incident, sparked by public access to unmasked NRIC numbers, has led to calls for accountability amid heightened concerns over data privacy and misuse.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Internal Circular will never state any broad plans 2 or 6 months down the road.

With udue fervency, MP Indranee will gladly drive this responsibility for the nation like how she was in Oxley Affairs. But back to the topic, the cicular was sent to ACRA without any discussion nor meetings? Is this how MP Josephine Teo makes rash decision without consultation at all?

Don't know how can have this blunder...

PDPA/Data Protection policy is all over the place for sizeable organization.. Not to mention ministry..

And you tell me NRIC is not part of PDPA so can collect full NRIC?

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

That me repeat COP 烂泥 's question when Raeesh Khan lied-

Did SBQ (Pritam) tell ACRA Chief (Raessh K) NOT to unmask NRIC #s?

NO. Meaning that SBQ proactively instructed the Unmasking of NRIC #s, lor.
