Never mind economic zone just widen the causeway to 10 lanes and ease all the bottlenecks so that people move back and forth easily.

It has been decades already and we are still seeing 3hr jams or worse.

By easing traffic businesses in Johor will benefit from Singaporean demand and Singaporeans will enjoy the buying power of the S$

The JB economic zones has been there for decades ...Singaporean spend money in this zones no need special taxes preferences or buying expensive goods there.
