Why coin such a difficult to pronounce name like Paxlovid?

Can't simply call it covido or covidem? Easier to say right?

One day 6 pills for 5 days: Twice of 3 pills per day.
One course: 30 pills cost $530 per patient.

Pay $530 for 30 pills.

I would rather pay $9 for Lianhua Qingwen Jiaonang. After double blind, pay so much?

More than that.

The regimen includes two tablets of nirmatrelvir, and one tablet of ritonavir, an HIV medicine. Paxlovid is not authorized for use for longer than 5 consecutive days. The drug is not meant to be taken prophylactically.
