Singapore civil servants to receive 0.4-month mid-year bonus with extra payment for junior officers 

Singapore civil servants will receive a 0.4-month mid-year bonus, with junior officers getting up to S$400 extra. The Public Service Division said the payout reflects Singapore’s first-quarter 2025 economic performance and a cautious outlook for the rest of the year.

If it is before erection, civil servants may get 1 month bonus

While private sectors are bracing with retrenchments and cost cutting... our civil service seems to be the best job. Iron rice bowls with very little accountabilities, cushy job 9-5, 3 days WFH and 2 hours lunch breaks for most departments are the normal. 2 months bonus almost guarranteed with NWC increments yearly.

Got few colleague join my company. They are from government sector.
Not to offend anyone but they really cannot take pressure. Really CMI in private sector. Either very incompetent or really cannot multitask. Everything don't want to learn and push to others. Super CMI. Pay is damn good but deliveries is so little compare to their pay.... Hahaha same from bottom to top
