Our leaders should learn from the mistake they made with Delta. They keptt our borders open when Delta was initially found. Even when Singaporeans protested they stubbornly refused

Because of the serious mistake they made when Delta spread, cases and deaths rose. We could not push it down.

This new strain has many mutations meaning our vaccines and anotibodis cannot recognise it. Once it comes it will be deadly as ourbody cannot fend against it.

We have to stop all VTL to prevent this new strain from coming into Singapore. This is a very serious risk much higher than Delta.

If we again act too late or are too complacent, deaths will rise.

In the 1929 flu, the later more deadly strain killed more people.

In Taiwan, they maintan zero covid because of danger of new strain that will spread.

If you "live with covid" new more lethal strains of the virus can spread.rapidly

Incoming VTL with Malaysia will also face covid testing like incoming Airport passengers.

But land VTL is ART while Air VTL is PCR Test.

Compulsory testing at Woodlands and Queen Street Terminal is not possible. Because people just alight and walk away instead of taking the ART Test.
