As citizens, can we allowed such a chicanery in leadership to continue unabated?

Aiyah! WE had to live up to the name and make it top passport of the world

What has the useless PAP done except invite more criminals

to make things worse

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 87 PAP Ministers?

"The Prevention of Corruption Act, which is the main anti-corruption law, allows CPIB to investigate various forms of corruption, including both monetary and non-monetary gratifications.

The act also outlines penalties for such offenses, including fines and imprisonment. ""

Many racist China-haters Singaporeans always paint the Fujian gang until as if they they got the billions through very wicked methods.

But actually the Fujian gang got their billions through just operating online gambling websites. The Fujian gang did not do drug trafficking and did not scam other people's money.

In many western Caucasian countries, operating online gambling websites might not even be against the law.

Is just that as everyone knows, chinese race people are the most compulsive gamblers among all the different races in the world and hence operating online gambling websites in regions where there are large population of Chinese race people confirmed will earn humongous profits.

And since operating online gambling websites are classified as breaking the law in China, hence the Fujian Gang need to launder their billions.

Hence the Fujian Gang's roughly 1 year jail sentence is very fair because they did not obtain their billions through heinous crimes such as drug trafficking or scamming people's money.

Is just those gamblers they themselves willingly want to gamble and lost money in their gambling websites.

Same as you cannot say that the operators of gambling website Bet365 is committing a heinous crime. Is the gamblers themselves willingly lost money in Bet365 gambling websites.

Now can get a better understanding of why Iswaran believed he was not guilty of corruption despite the clear rules and guidelines. All the ministars got partake in wining and dining with the tycoon investors/donors. If they no salah, how come Iswaran got singled out for corruption? Of course the difference was he accepted their gifts along with the makans.

The do's and don't of dis type wining and dining culture has to be better delineated so dat civil servants dun run afoul of corruption laws.

Recently, Trump passed an order that for American or American companies, there is no such thing as money laundering. They won't be prosecuted in the US.

In a statement, the Treasury Department said it would not enforce any penalties under the act against U.S. citizens or domestic reporting companies.
