The two 唱双簧?

Basically they running a Singapore Inc, the citizens are sheep for slaughter chamber lah. It's a business and since they are the top management, the lions will continue eating the sheep as long as the sheep remains fearful and do not unite as one.

Singaporeans are mostly just too busy trying to survive and at the back of their mind to either have successfully career and retire here or attain enough wealth and leave.

Cannot blame these actors, the voters gave them mandate. While the mandate was tied to the manifesto, the servants found many ways to become lords instead... The majority accepted this, so everyone should respect the decision and live with the consequences.

why not build up a new fund for the special purpose of crisis. covid-19 will tell how much that fund size need to be.
in that way since it is new build up with special purpose. no need president approval as not digging in to past reserve.

meanwhile this fund should invest in local stock so as to provide a financial source for new business.
a big fund in local market will increased local activities and invite more other fund to be in singapore market.
our position is special in that foreign interest are protected. not any how confiscate. only base on law to act against illegal source fund

singapore as a place for investment to build medical product is also special in that our small populations means we will not need to block export of manufacture medical products.

singapore is a well connected air hub good for distributions of products.

Now, PM Lee talks about reserves, Lawrence adding about reserves.

Previously, PM Lee talked about mask not productive, Lawrence followed about  giving 4 masks in one packet to every household but do not open and use immediately. There's no needs.
