How come so expensive? Kena chop carrot.
Last time I got a friend with a 28 week premature baby probably about 10 years ago, bill was 30K.

The baby came for the karmic debt they owed, usually this is the case according to parables. After they paid the debt, the baby will die, as the karmic debt is dissolved.

Hospitalised in Mt. Elizabeth Hospital?

They are likely also expecting crow funding like these couples where husband and wife works in Morgan as IT Professionals. They barely took a week to raise the funds for the medical bills.

The couples are foreigners and only recently got their PR.. They should have gone back to their home country to have children.  THis reporting is so fishie like an attempt to use this case to argue for more benefits for PR. Sorry for their child, but you asked for the service in 1s World, you also get to pay 1st World medical bill as PR.

...In 2023, the couple were granted Singapore Permanent Residency and earlier this year, Carol learned she was pregnant. Despite both parents working in healthcare and being Permanent Residents, they are only eligible for limited medical subsidies. The projected cost of Chelsea’s care is staggering: S$920,000...

Your KK hospital site does not mention anything for PR or "half PR" lah.

How cum the 2 non-SGrean parents claims $990,000 NICU bill for for their child that was born less than 1 month ago ???

Interestingly it indicates the KKH NICU states cost up to $15k monthly....
On average, hospitalisation in NICU ranges from two to seven months and can cost upwards of $15,000.

All these medical subsidies are paid by tax payers (Talking point)

If foreigners are given, then OYK should be sacked
