70 cents is paid put as prize money.
22 cents is taxes to govt
3 cents is operating expenses
5 cents is to Tote board charity.
Total bets collected is 11B...so 550M goes to charity.

Govt biggest winner issue license get monies. The ground work aka sai kang pools workers working. I am former Turf Club worker so I know how it works. License I think is annual renewable.

Like I said before, there's no need for GST, because the gambling tax collected, $2.2b, is more than double the GST collected.

how much levy collected from the 2 casinos?
money collected by the govt but gamblers had to paid 2 times if going into RWS & MBS. where is the logic?
you paid road tax in Yishun but can drive into AMK?

Right. If you count the casino levy and football bets, it could be $5billion.

maybe few yr down the line, auditors found discrepancy in their collection just like how they found dept over collected GST.
