Asian countries often give people the impression of serious work, but a global survey report shows that employees in Asian countries are pretending to be busy at work and spend the most time on performative work.

Of which the top three are: It's India, Japan, and Singapore, all of whom just "look busy" instead of doing real productive work.

According to a CNBC report, Salesforce's Slack and cloud survey platform Qualtrics conducted a global survey and found that employees from India (43%), Japan (37%) and Singapore (36%). The proportion of time spent on "performing work" is higher than the global average (32%).
