US markets sure make money. Why? They control the world financial markets using the USD. Their entire economy is built on finance now, having hived off and offshored all manufacturing and industry.

They can print USD at will, and make markets shoot up and crash down at will.

That's why China decided to decouple their financial markets from the world with the closure of Ant Financial.
