Eldric Ko, 51, who incorporated Premium Liquid Assets (PLASG) in October 2005 and jointly ran its business with Koo Han Jet, went on to misappropriate $12.67 million of the investors' funds between 2008 and 2011.

Few years back, I was almost tricked into investing in this wine business. Lucky never commit. Moral of the story, always trust yourselves than trusting others. They are good salesmen who can sweet-talk to you until you believed it.
