Ok. Her unlucky day. If it was not her, it'd have been someone else.

I suppose it was traumatic for her and wish I could add "at first" and after she found out about his medical condition... I shan't say laugh it off, but if she can let the matter rest, and just treat it as well, her unlucky day, then she should get over it quickly.
