Both are inactivated and they are similar. No point waiting. Can update to latest version later.

Sinovac: Manufacturing batch is in January 2021.

Sinopharm may have a slight edge as it is fresh from manufacturing and there is a temperature gauge on each dose. But Sinovac is widely used in this region and the world.

Those who take inactivated vaccines, need to know that the effectiveness is 2 weeks after the second dose.

It takes time for your body to learn and win a fight with the inactivated viruses. Your body will know how to fight the covid virus lor. Looks like they will only update the viruses after WHO requests them to. If the virus mutates more than 50%, they will likely update with a new patch.
