Russia Enlists 30,000 Soldiers Monthly for Ukraine Conflict....(to replace those missing, kill and those) 

Vadym Skibitskyi, deputy chief major general of Ukraine's main military intelligence arm, has recently reported that Russia is enlisting approximately 30,000 soldiers monthly. Although this recruitment of soldiers each month suffices to compensate for frontline losses, Russia would have to initiate a larger-scale mobilization to build a more substantial strategic reserve.

This rate of recruitment, which averages 1,000 to 1,100 people per day, is in response to the significant casualties Russia has sustained in ongoing Ukraine conflict. This info is in line with the observations made by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), which corroborates the scale of Russia's efforts to maintain operational rotations in Ukraine. Skibitskyi's statements shed light on the high-casualty approach of the Russian military, particularly in strategic urban battles such as those in Bakhmut and Avdiivka. Analysts have observed the continuation of these tactics across various fronts, notably the United States' report in October about Russia employing "human wave" tactics. These involve deploying underprepared and poorly equipped troops into high-intensity combat scenarios, often resulting in significant losses.

Ukraine latest news: In reinforcing Avdiivka. And there are good reasons to believe it’s bolstering the eastern city—current the locus of Russia’s winter offensive—with one if many of the best brigades in the Ukrainian army.

Starting with 3rd Assault Brigade, Ukrainian ground-combat brigade that know for sure was in reserve in eastern Ukraine as of last week. Brig. Gen. Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of Tavriya group of forces in Avdiivka, announced the reinforcement on Saturday. 

“We'r strengthen & blocking line, set up additional firing positions and use fresh effective forces,” Tarnavskyi wrote. “Logistical delivery continues.”
Ukrainian forces are accepting enormous risk. After 4-months of hard fighting, Russian troops from 2nd and 41st Combined Arms Armies finally breached Avdiivka—a key Ukrainian stronghold just five miles northwest of Russian-occupied Donetsk, earlier  mth as approached within a few hundred yards of main road by which Ukrainian garrison, centered on the 110th Mechanized Brigade, gets supplies into the city.

Tarnavskyi had two options. Pull back 110th Brigade’s survivors from exposed eastern part of city or consolidate Ukrainian line in central Avdiivka or just outside city and or: reinforce 110th Brigade and try to push much Russian force away fron the rail and away from garrison’s supply lines.
