.Smart SIA CEO cancelled orders of 8 Boeing 737 Max delivery in 2023.
Quick thinking may have saved SIA.

"As of December 2023, there were 161 aircraft registered in the Singapore Airlines fleet, comprising 149 passenger aircraft and 12 freighters.

On May 16, 2023, Singapore Airlines confirmed that it had cancelled orders for eight Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft"

Stoopid people will go and buy in the first place. Cancelling then will cost heavily for SIA.

In 2017, SIA ordered 51 Boeing planes and paid US$14 billion for first batch 39 Boeing planes..

SIA took delivery of 16 Boeing 737 Max between 2021 and 2022. And today, still in service
