Wild sambar deer spotted grazing peacefully at Mandai Road, loud PMD music scares them away 🦌

But not before this wildlife photographer managed to capture some great shots of the herd.

Have the authorities been culling wild boar in SG? I used to see at least 1 - 2 every evening during my runs in and around Upper Bukit Timah and Bukit Batok. However, the boar have mysteriously disappeared from sight for the past 12 months.

The thread has to do with wildlife so you may include your "Dinobu" wife in the discussion if you wish.

The rumour is that the sambar deer escaped from the S'pore Zoo decades ago and reproduced. If that is true, then there must have been a lot of inbreeding. However, this species of deer is native to S'pore.
