The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency has decided to postpone classifying COVID 19 on the same level as seasonal flu.

But only 185 people were hospitalized for severe illness and 98 died, much the same as the previous week.

Health officials expect daily coronavirus infections to nearly 80,000 by the middle of the month.
