SGP had been like that.

yesterday the bcm stall wanted to charge me additional $1 for the $4.80 mince port noodle, I told the stall go fly kite.

SG, like S Korea, is a free economy. If too ex, spend less.

If the bakua is like eating gold, I will be happy to not buy this year...and settle with more affordable Mandarin orange and homemade 年糕 Big Grin

Why must we eat bak kwa only during CNY? I had my fill in December before prices shot through the roof!
