The food and beverage industry employs mostly foreigners.
Even the low ses cai png, you are not eating Singapore's food cooked like those our grandmothers and great grandmothers cooked.
You are eating Malaysian food and you've been eating it for so long that you don't even know what Singaporean home cooked food is really like.
Clean or not, well you are at the mercy of the foreign cooks and service staff.
