Not surprised, Taiwan secret society actually got a lot of power in some provinces of theirs especially those small rural type, basically ish their own little kingdom so who become govt also hard to touch them. Ish very similar to the secret society problem in AT land as many are deeply involved with govt and gong an, even the military. Actually compare to those AT land big wizard secret society, Taiwan one ish already consider as small wizard. After all in Taiwan if their MSM found evidences and go sexposed, will be hard to cover hard to their govt and mata will die die have to take action. Nevertheless Taiwan's secret society are definitely a deep rooted social problem, since last time ish already got cooperate dip dip with various politicians and thus got a lot of power and influences, even in modern dazes many with secret society background had became politicians themselves, more amusing ish many actually got dip dip supports from the taiwan voters that are still willing to vote for them even when caught in corruption or commit crimes. Their mata see this type sometime also have to bow or look away one.
Unless Taiwanese got their idea straight and stop voting for such politicians regardless wat party they are in, doubt ish an easy problem for them to fix no matter who are running their govt.
