Taiwan companies told to abide by China's labeling rule: Made in Taiwan China
17-08-2022, 05:30 PM
Several companies have told the MOEA that they were informed by trading companies or freight forwarders that products heading to China should not be labeled as originating from "Taiwan" or the "Republic of China (Taiwan's official name)," MOEA said in statement Friday night.

According to Nikkei Asia, Chinese authorities have notified manufacturers that boxes, shipping documents, cartons, and export and import declaration forms for good imported from Taiwan cannot show the words "Republic of China," "ROC" or "Taiwan."
That would be consistent with a rule set in 2015 in which China requires that goods imported from Taiwan be labeled as being from "Taiwan, China," "Chinese Taipei," or other designations that suggest Taiwan is part of Chinese territory.

Will see. Taiwanese company probably dun hue adn comply so long as you buy. Government just 1 eye open 1 eye close as long as money is coming in and trade flowing. During the 50s, Japanese named a town "USA" and branded their products "made in USA". Will only make the Community more angry against CCP China only.
Omi.. Thank you for bumping up the message.

Well, the total revenue which China gave to Taiwan contributed a high number that gives Taiwan GDP a huge jump.
Just like last year when the fruits which China has banned Taiwanese, was eventually had to re-routed via Vietnam into China.
This has increased the cost of operation for Taiwan’s farmers and fishermen but they continue to sell into China.
The recent ban will most likely to go via that route, but the Taiwanese farmers and fishermen will check their goods prior to shipping this time round. Because they will use other middle man to handle the trade. Because currently those existing middle man did not mitigate the recent situations well.
So Taiwanese cannot and will not forego the business with China. Because the number of days to ship the goods into China is the shortest route compare to anywhere else.

Honestly the person who really knows nut is anyone but yourself. With every of your postings begins with name calling on those oppositions to your views, is nothing but sad. Because you exposed your ignorance and stupidity.
All your anti-China and/or anti-Russia postings here are/were unsubstantiated or unsolicited news. Which further proved that you preferred to serve the westerners like a dog by posting fake news, which can be seen in all your postings here in this forum.
Try to be human for once, but if you’re happy to be a dog, I mean a servant for the westerners, by all means. After all it’s a democratic society here in Singapore.
I do urge you to, at least try to be one dog with dignity. Do show show something that really substantiate your postings with truth at least, instead you’re only posting spams here.
