Gui Ming Dang only wanted to make use of China to bring down Tsai. Taiwanese could never forget about CCP destroying and forcing them to move to Taiwan.

If u hv a chance to talk to Taiwanese tourist guides, they will tell u they only want the PRC’s tourist money. They bad mouth the PRC tourist

Not only the tourists Taiwan’s economy is highly depending on mainland China, if China imposes sanctions on Taiwan, its economy will be badly affected.

CCP never chased KMT to Taiwan, it was President Chiang who wanted to evacuate to Taiwan after KMT lost the Defence at Yangtze River, it had taken 2 years for Chiang to slowly shift tons of gold bars and national treasures to Taiwan using hundreds of ships. Chiang even returned to Chongqing from Taiwan for a while in 1949. After the defeat in Civil War, many KMT generals surrendered to CCP, millions of soldiers also laid down weapons.

Taiwanese dunt support KMT as they are from mainland China. Currently only 10% Taiwanese support KMT.
