Moi still felt this opening up ish more of an economical consideration rather than erection one, erection timing ish more like a coincidence may not even in favor of them. As this timing actually coincide with the holiday period especially those in Jipan and SEA region since Taiwan ish one of the popular holiday designated to the people for these area. So it make sense to declare this nao so to attract more foreign moola to visit their island in this coming NOV\DEC.

Your observations is correct about DPP is opening up the border because of the year end elections. With many media in Taiwan are now controlled by DPP, they need to open up the border to gain more supports from the citizens.

Especially in recent months, DPP administration has surfaced many “corruptions” cases, with the recent earthquake that resulted the badminton hall ceiling collapse in a Pan Green Taoyuan province. All polls are showing that in Pan Green candidates are losing supports, DPP administration has to open up the border to gain likability from the people.
